Well, technically, they can cancel the recruitment process without prior notice as they have mentioned the same in the terms and conditions yet that cancellation can be challenged in the same court on the grounds i.e. EOBI advertised the vacancies before addressing its internal issues with ex-employees knowing that they are going to become hurdle in recruitment process, but it not only conducted the ability tests, it also went for the skills tests even after the stay order and then announced the results with shortlists, and therefore kept the candidates awaited for too long. As far as the outcome of this case is concerned, if the verdict goes against EOBI, the worst thing can ever happen to us would be the decrease in salaries which I think should not matter in the current scenario.

We should wait till the verdict of IHC. If EOBI conducts interviews and recruits the candidates then well and good, but if it intended to cancel the jobs then the services of a lawyer can be acquired and he/she will file a suit on the grounds mentioned earlier along with some additions. The court will summon the defendant i.e. EOBI. But that would be the last resort till then we should wait and see as it seems that it may take more than a month for the court to give its decree.
