it is clearly said master degree which is equivalent to Stats, Economics, Mathematics, sociology or Commerce with stats. MBA is not equivalent to above degrees. i hope it will clear your doubts.

But BBA is equivalnt to Master Degree in Commerce.

Business degree holders have been victimised thought they have statistics and economics subjects in degree course.

We must consult FPSC.

In BBA(Hons) we do study, Statistics, Research Methods, Sociology, Economics and Commerce subjects (Financial & Cost Accounting, Taxation, Business studies, Economics, Money & Banking, Business law, Financial Management etc.) much more than Bcom or Mcom. So how can you say that BBA or MBA is not equivalent to the criteria?

Today i emailed FPSC regarding Eligibility criteria if One has done BBA(Hons) and as expected gotten a very pathetic and vague reply which leaves one with more questions then answers see for your self below

having subjects of Statistical Inference, Research Methods & Techniques Microeconomics,

Macroeconomics, Managerial Economics, Developmental Economics, Applied Mathematics for

General Age Relaxation is for everyone (max age+ 5 Years for example 25+5= 30 or 28+5 =33).



Result awaiting candidates cannot apply for any post. Final result should be declared before closing date. Final result should be officially declared, degree certificates can be submitted later on.

The only thing i can get from this joke of a reply is i am eligible if i can produce a equivalent certificate from HEC saying my 16 years of education is equivalent to Masters....

Even then i fear FPSC at any later stage is going to reject me or worst ban me by saying failure to reproduce required Degrees or Banned from recruitment for give false information.

Salam. What are the duties of a statistical officer? Is it the same as monitoring officer? And where will a candidate from, e.g., khyber agency be posted? Will he/she be posted in the same agency? Plus, in which department will the statistical officer work? Like monitoring officer have some schools under his supervision, what about statistical officer?
I know these are a lot of questions, but please reply.
