Default Electronic engineers- pakistan meteorological department-fpsc

Recently FPSC has advertised some posts of Electronic Engineer (BS-17) in Pak Met Dept. I know these posts were also advertised in 2016 and 2017 as there are some previous threads already available in this forum regarding this post . But I want to ask few questions from seniors and qualified persons of this post.
  • Good sources for preparation of technical portion of test?
  • How is the promotion structure in Pak Met Dept?
  • Is it a good post for long term ?
  • Whats are benefits and perks in addition to salary?
  • How is the working environment of this department?

People already serving in this department kindly reply
