Default Appointment by Transfer in OMG

Hello All

The FPSC has recently announced the examination 2020 for appointment by Transfer in OMG. The cut off date is 15th March, 2021. There is a confusion with regard to the eligibility of candidates for the said examination. It is unclear whether any Government Servant, Provincial Civil Servant of Government Servant in BS-17 or BS-18 is eligible for the exam or only those who have served on Deputation basis in Fed. Sectt as SO.

Upon telephonic inquiry from FPSC HQ, the guy on the phone informed that it is open only to those officers who have served on deputation in Fed. Sectt as SO. Another guy, however, told that it is open to all officers in BS-17 or BS-18.

The question still remains the same : Can an Officer in BS-17 or BS-18 can apply for the examination or it is only open for those who may have served on deputation for a period of 3 years in Fed Sectt as SO ?

Please guide if anyone has the authentic information.

Thanks and Regards

It is clearly mentioned in the adv that a person served as SO in deputation in Prov or fed dept are only eligible.

Thumbs up

But the advertisement has also included the word "or" which has clear view that all Bps-17 or Bps-18

regular employees can apply for this job
