Default Applying for lecturer post.

Salam
Came back to this site after my CSS heartbreak of 2020 written result.
Anyway, my question is, if I apply for lecturer post of Pakistan Studies or Political Science, though I have a degree in International Relations, am I eligible for that?
I know PPSC allows IR candidates to apply for either of the aforementioned subjects, but I am not sure of FPSC. I emailed HEC regarding the same question but got no response.
Looking forward to your esteemed reply.
Thanks.
