Good. But you shouldn't waste your attempt. Most Govt jobs these days are few and far between. Also, with each passing year, the number of candidates and competition is getting fierce. With prep, you might have score 45+ marks.

I scored 38 marks for the post of Assistant Director from Punjab Quota.

AOA, Normally in FPSC when a job is advertised and if it requires lets say 2 years of experience mentioned (governmental), then, can a guy who doesnt have the experience apply? given that he has 18 years of education and the job eligibility was 16 years, I heard it from some one that FPSC considers 18 years of edu as 2 years of experience if it required 16 yrs edu. Kindly share your valuable thoughts.

Dont believe hearsay. If the job requires any experience or certificate then it is mandatory. Check the links from FPSC website

Go through it and you'll see how they've rejected candidates who lacked relevant experience and/or certifications. They count event months and days for experience.

AOA, do you or anyone know what's the min words requirement for the essay writing in HEC AD exam?

The word count is irrelevant. You're only given 2 leaves (3.5 pages) for Written portion, ie Precis and Essay both. No extra sheet is provided. On top of this, the pages are thick lined. So 1 page for precis and the rest for essay.
