Airports security force Academy/ASF Academy Karachi information
 

Hello everyone.
I just want to share few details about ASF Academy Karachi as there is no such information available on any source. I am sharing it for those who are being elected on ASF seats and called for trainings.

ASF is a good dept. with good job reputes. Academy is bit different from original ASF. In academy you are treated as a trainee and most of the time you feel like why I am here? Am I an officer? But trust me same training will help you learn alot.

On basic training, 6 months course is mendatory. You are just given a one week mid term leave. In case of any emergency you can ask for leave. First thing is your medical clearance from dept. Your medical fitness tests are conducted in Govt hospital of KHI. No mobile phones are allowed during training. Only you can use laptop(with your own Internet device).

Your training consists of :
1 physical training
2 Drill/Parade/March
3 Weapon training
4 theory related aviation security

In physical you are trained for one mile running test in 8 minutes minimum, Chin ups, Push ups, sit ups. Don't worry after six months results will be totally opposite to your first day.

Drill instructors make you learn parade and saluting etc

Weapon instructors enable you to get grip over different weapons

Theory instructors will teach you about Airport security and broadly aviation security.

You need to bring with you :
All documents with 8 attested copies of each document.
One white joggers shoes
Black trousers
White bed sheet
You can also find these items from academy stores and canteeens but shoes are better to bring from home. Servis joggers are best.
Rest your personal usage clothes towel waistcoat.

I am sharing it because when we went there, no one guided us.
