I have to ask that wats the purpose of security clearance proforma??..I have got security clearance proforma after I passed ma test and interview..its a very lengthy proforma..they can ask bout any candidate through their NICs and also they can get their family info from NADRA..what is the purpose of such lengthy proformas??

The security clearance depth and time required depends upon department to department. However the main purpose of security clearance proforma is to collect the primary information about you and your near relative so that it could be easy to verify the same given information and to obtain secondary information in connection with the already determined criteria.

In Defense sector jobs, Security clearance performa is given to the candidate who have qualified in final selection list....... Dont have idea about Civilians......

actually in public sector/govt sector organization need security clearness because its essentially requirment that the selected candidate have o any crimnal records...

some time clearness required through only police Special branch through your police station and some time inteligence beure also clear the security depend upon department where you applied.
