You can not apply. electrical , chemical, electronics ,mechanical,civil,metallurgy B.E holders only can apply.

What is the pattern of test and what about negative marking? Will they ask, from whole electrical engineering or only from control, telecommunications and electronics as they did in previous PIEAS and PAEC test, to electrical engineers?

Can not wait for KINPOE website to respond properly?
Do a few smart things.
First of all to download form and admit card or to open webpage, open it at your own risk. You probably will see a message that this site may harm your computer if you go to www.kinpoe.edu.pk (I am sure this will be fixed soon).
Next, to see a sample paper go to

This paper is for year 2011. For year 2014 there will be 100 questions 40 general and 60 related to your subject. Calculators are not allowed. Time is three hours. You are penalized per wrong answer by 1/3.

Finally KINPOE website technicians may soon resolve the issue occurring in faqs and some other problems at their site. PAEC will upload sample paper soon on KINPOE web and they will send it back to you with your admit card as well, however not more than couple of weeks before test.

When the pieas advertisement for fellowship came out it was written over there that to get yourself considered for the kinpoe you had to submit 300 Rs more. But when the result came out there was nothing about kinpoe. Now they have given there own advert to get the money.
