they will be the selected candidates and after that further shortlisting will be done as the no. of posts is meagre.

After such a lengthy process what do you get just frustration. So many candidates for just 4 or 5 seats . What can be more absurd than that. Our governments can not create enough jobs for the graduates.

I need help from seniors, especially those working in Education sector.

Now that I have been selected as SSE English in Chakwal, I am confused whether I should join or not. You might find it strange but there are some reasons behind this: one, I am working as a Lecturer in a semi-govt college drawing about 35000 per month, which is definitely a higher amount than that paid to the BPS 16 teachers; two, I have been living in Rawalpindi since birth and find it hard to settle in my village (I was told by DEO that a post of SSE is vacant in my own village and I might get appointed there); third, I am doing M.Phil from Islamic University and while staying in the village it will be a little difficult for me to do my research work..

Kindly suggest me if it would be a better option for me to join Govt job, which itself is five-year-contract based, or I'd better keep on working in the private sector and pursue other job options...

Dear,
Your confusion is valid and you can swing in any way. But personally I believe sse post is like stagnant water , though you get grade-16, but thats all what you get. The college teaching provides you a mature environment where you learn alot besides this it helps in higher level studies .. The choice is all yours but remember self-excellency should be a top priority in any case . thanks

@ Tayyab Siyal

Your post compelled me to reply Because I too belong to Chakwal and I have observed this process since beginning..This Job was just like Halwa to get 4,5 years before because of less competition and economical situation of our country.(As we all know poor budget of our Education dept thats why they reduced Educators vacancies). Well, you have good background and you seem talented and potential about your career but its matter of fact that its so difficult to get a govt job these days. So it would be a wise decision to join it and go for other opportunities as well. Govt job experience 'll be beneficial in many ways age relaxation etc.

After going through a tiresome process it has become a throat cutting competition because of just 1 or 2 posts at Tehsil level while there are so many candidates. You must join it and keep on applying for FPSC and PPSC Jobs.

Wish you Good Luck

Regards,
