what is P-1 scale? it is equivalent to which scale in BPS?

2 second devision
 

i have 2 second devisions.... metric 55% and inter 59%... but 1st devision in final degree... can i apply??

P-1 is equivalent to sps-8

why not eligible he has more than 50% marks and first div in final degree .

They seem like SPS-8 positions.

Only one 2nd Division is allowed means that in entire career only once less then 60% Marks are allowed.

(not less then 50%) means if you have one 2nd division i.e less then 60% marks once in career then this one 2nd Division should not carry less then 50% marks.

in Case you have one 2nd Division and that 2nd Division carries less then 50% marks then it will render you ineligible.


I have 58% in Metric
60% in Intermediate
53% in B.com
76%( first divsion) In MBA

I have applied for jobs without knowing that i was not eligible. my application has also been submitted. But I know that They will not Short list me.

I sent an email to Hr1384 for the above question and they have replied me that one 2nd division is allowed in entire career and that 2nd division should not carry less then 50% Marks.


I sent email to them yesterday and they have responded very quickly to my query.

I think the degree required by the post "Assistant Engineer Electrical Power" should be written like this :

"BE [COLOR="Magenta"]Electrical[/COLOR] with specialization in power"

Power and Electronics both are sub-branches of Electrical.
