2 2nd level test to be considered . Once a candidate went court against this but court rejected his appeal as these internal affairs of EOBI

3.......merit list given final touch

4.........no increase of posts as did not get sanction of concerned ministry

5......... authentic as personally visited head office.

dude in a walk in interview,they state up and straight that what its gonna be. in the case of eobi,they published the ad first and meeting took place later about how they gonna select candidates..if they were to base merit on 2nd test,they should have said it. from the ad,no one guessed they had plan to take two tests. let alone to make list on mere 2nd test.not to forget charging 900 for both test seperately.

I have serious concerns on determination of merit on the basis of 2nd test only. What about those who have got 89 in the first test and could not get more than 60 in the 2nd test? Did the respected institution told us in their advertisement that there will be a 2nd test and the merit will be determined on the basis of 2nd test only? Marking of the 1st test was computerized and marking of 2nd test was not computerized, so it would not be wise to base the merit on 2nd test marks only. It must be considered as Merit = 1st test (Objective type) + 2nd test (Subjective type) and this would be more logical determination of merit...

if people who secured good marks in 2nd test were so geniuses,they should have been able to secure good marks in 1st test too..i scored 79 in first and 64 in 2nd. i dont give a F**K if i didnt get selected,but those who got good marks in both tests deserve chance rather than ones who secured good in 2nd test and did avg on first test..
and talking about merit in govt orgs is a new tale to hear..if EOBI is so pious organization than howcome court had to intervene and had to make 358 people walk out of it? howcome all of the sudden,it got so saint-ish that they gonna hire on pure merit. mcqs are hard to cheat on because we were given carbon copies,but its easy game to cheat on theoretical test because no one can assure what you wrote is right or wrong.
so get your facts straight before you call people here "fool"

Please see back side of ur 2nd test roll number slip.. u will find.. it was clearly mentioned that candidates securing highest marks in their respective quotas shall be offered jobs strictly on merit.. plz see and read again and again..

if merit list is prepared on basis of 2nd level test, I will get seat of AD on quota system..in case both tests are considered then i will it against MERIT seats! WIN WIN situation

No dear. Similar policy is documented in PPSC site. They conduct short listing test only when candidate to post ratio is more than 20/1 or 5/1 I forgot. Otherwise they hire from direct interview.
