Now when the written part of the NTS test for SNGPL jobs has concluded , let's share info about interview process and the further processes here. I hope interview process would soon get started. But those who have scored well , should not sit idle waiting for interview process to get started. Rather , they should start the preparation for interview. For their assistance as how would be the interview, I am Sharing my interview of last year.
Last time I scored 64 and was called for interview. For aspirants I am writing the story of that interview. Here is the exact story of the interview. I reached well before 8 am at SNGTI kot lakhpat. We were made to sit in a hall and made start waiting. At almost 10 am our documents were started getting collected. The interviews started at eleven . The process was very slow it was killing to wait for the turn. We were served Tea near 12:30. They interviewers took lunch break at 1:30 for almost an hour. They again started interviews. My number was 30 and my turn came at almost 4:15. Remember we were asked to reach at 8 am sharp. I entered the room and greeted the panel which consisted of 3 members. The interview was very easy and more a general, not technical. The very first thing they asked was to introduce my self. I gave them a thorough introduction of myself. I have my Masters in English Literature. As a second question They asked why I opted Literature in Masters. To this I replied literature was my passion so not only I did masters in it but also in graduation , my main subject was English literature. Thirdly They asked about English Romantic Poet Lord Byron. I gave them an introduction of Byron. Then they asked what do you know about SNGPL? I gave them an introduction of SNGPL that it was formed as private company in 1963 and then it was m,ade public limitited in 1964 . Its main responsibilities are transmission and distribution of natural gas to consumers which consist of domestic, commercial and industrial consumers through construction of pipelines and their maintenance. They further asked how much are the reserves of natural gas . I told them they were 33 trillion cubic feet. Then they asked about my practical experience. Which i told them about my internship of one year. That was the the point when they said Thank You Gentleman , You can leave now. And I stood up said them Thank You Sir and left the room. From few other candidates they also asked how is sales officers job relevant to their qualification and experience. They also asked expected salary from few and also asked if they are appointed in remote area , would the accept the job. Thats All. |

kia esi ko Jehmoriyat kehte ha? i cant understand ,,,,,,, SNGPL khud ek darama baz department ha,,,, kuch month pehle SNGPL ne 600 employees hire kiye through internal hiring and through Union,,,, means k corruption keh leh ap log es ko, koi advertisement ni diya or hiring kar li,, us wakat tu internal hiring ma SNGPL pa political situation effect ni hui,,,, ab jub merit pa selection ki bari ati ha tu pher political situation effect kar jati ha SNGPL pa,,,,,or ye ab 3rd bar hu rha ha aisa,,,, |

Calm down Dear..... I can understand your feelings, but this how things are............... we can't help it.... SNGPL is different from EOBI... EOBI is much more organized institution than SNGPL.... SNGPL is full of corruption & corrupt people.... There is a strong union in SNGPL, which does not want external hirings & still they are using different tactics to hault this hiring......... So my advise, have patience & have faith on ALLAH............

There was no meeting as MD is out of station since two weeks. plus recruitment process is not at all halted but just waiting for things to calm down. just pray for our country at this moment

Expect the unexpected.
Friends, let me share my experience with you.
Always expect the unexpected. Over here, in Pakistan, everything is unexpected. Sometimes one will score exceptional and would be rejected in the interview. While at other times one would be waiting for a God Damn interview and they, the concerned department, won't conduct it. Red Tapism, inefficient and ineffective employees are the hall marks of our bureaucracy. This has happened to me. My most recent incident is with the EOBI. I scored 79 in the first test and got mere"08" marks in the second test. I went to the NTS office in Peshawar, called the Islamabad office several times and sent them emails...its been a month and yet no response. I spent hours at the helpline. Their response is that there will be no rechecking, no recounting . Because, it is not the policy of NTS for subjective tests. You will find numerous other examples of gross injustices done to candidates, over the forum. I have a little bit of optimism left. It won't be there for long. Let's wait and see what SNGPL has in store for us.

I talked to an employee of SNGPL Audit to know about the current position of recruitment process. He told me that hiring through NTS test 2014 has been cancelled in SNGPL. Further, he told that its all because of employees Union of SNGPL. Union of SNGPL says: "No hiring from Outside the company". Please, first confirm this News if anybody has a legitimate source in the company. Further, if it's true then please join hands for a possible legal action. |

I got 62 marks in sales department, could any one please tell me that what are my chances for the interview and my second question is what is the salary package for sales officer. |
