I applied for the post of Lecturer (BPS-18), Telecommunication Engineering at Sukkur IBA and I have been short listed for initial screening test.

Is there anyone who has already given such test in IBA Sukkur? If yes, please tell me the format of test.

Test will be conducted from the subjects Electronic Communication by Frenzel, Communication Systems by Kennedy, Data and Computer Communication by Behroz Forouzon, Electronic Communication by Handa are the well reputed books for any kind of subject test in Electronic and Communications... You should focus 3rd and 4th year courses .... if you haven't got time then simply go for Electronic and Communication Engineering by Handa ...

what should be be test pattern of written test , either subjective or MCQs type ? please senior help me

It's like CSS English Composition papper with one or two questions from literature.

I took test yesterday for the post of Lecturer (Telecommunication Engineering) and the test was 60% from field and 40% general.

Format of Test is as follows:

Test Marks 100
Time Allowed 90 minutes

English 20%
i) Synonyms of words underlined in a sentences 5 marks
ii) Antonyms of words underlined in a sentences 5 marks
iii) Detect incorrect word in a sentence
iv) Select appropriate preposition for given sentence

Mathematics 10%
Questions were from ratios and . . . (I forgot

)

General Knowledge 10%
Question were about cricket, country of golden fiber, ...

Telecommunication 60%
i) Most of the questions were from Signals and System, Digital Signal Processing and Analog and Digital Communication.
ii) Few questions were from Electromagnetics, Satellite Communication, Wireless Communication, Fiber Optics Communication System, Computer Communication and Networking.
