1. Is there any possibility that I shall be called for interview??
2. How many seats are available?
3. I have BE Electronics but my total experience is in instrumentation.
Gentleman.
Plz focus on your duties..
Unfartunately there is no chance for you..
Xen of ntdc multan is my class mate in mphil in electrical engineering bzu multan..
According to him 2500 aspirants have passed this test ..and ntdc is going to call 1000 top most cadudates.i myself have 58 marks but i m scaered to listen this...
So all aspirants who have less than 60 marks must not waste their time in the hope of call letter for interview...

How can you say that because the majority of the candidates passing the test are below 60.

Engr.waqar
exactly brother
majority of aspirants have marks below 60...
But it depends upon authorities in ntdc how they decide cut off point for call letter for interview...
But keeping in mind the previous criteria of ntdc for allocation in 2012..
It can be deduced that candidates having marks above 60 in entrance test and 80 or 80 above percents in acadmics would be better options for interview as well as for allocation....
So be realist in your approach....

Default Hopes are still High

Sawan bro i do agree with you that we have to be realistic in our approach but again I would say in either conditions, I would still thanks Allah for whatever the outcome is selected for interview or not, as even at this point of time Allah is giving me far more than I deserve. Hopes are still high. Let's see what happens

I got 60 in the test and i am the only candidate being able to pass the test among my batch fellows.I guess the cut-off criteria would be around 55 and those'20' marks of the intwrview would matter a lot for the final allocation. So better start preparing for the interview.

Mr. Nouman Nadeem where are you from and where studied ?
As the test was very tough for a power engineer so criteria should be changed for selection.

I recently passed out as an electrical engineer from Punjab University. You're right,it was a tough race for the Power engineers, where they should be given an edge. Plenty of electronics engineers were able to pass the test,as communication and control systems are more related to those subjects, they study through out their degree.
To be specific,i don't think i performed well in the test as i focused my attention on Electric Machines,Power generation and transmission of Electric power.
There are a lot of books available in the market for this purpose. Why don't u go for one?
@ vicky i specifically mentioned my batch fellows, whose conceptual approach is far more convinving than mine.
