i received the call on 17-12-2014 for the interview on 24-12-2014 at hyderabad. the person who called said, you will also receive interview letter.so any one received letter by email or via courier ?

Interview experience was good overall. After introduction, they asked about my field of specialization, then an overview of power systems, questions regarding relays and power transformers. They were mostly interested in asking questions related to power engineering , despite telling them that I had specialized in Electronics.

some general talking about my education and degree, why ntdc, what are relays, what is difference b/w distance relay and differential relay, generation voltages, transmission voltages, distribution voltages, explanation of the whole process from generation to distribution, why transmission at high voltages, what are power transformers, transformer equation, they gave me a question to find the turns ratio of secondary, effect of heat on resistance, negative coefficient of resistance, who is John Kerry, what is the name of queen of england... ,

Interview duration was 10 to 15 min.

Dear you passed written exam because you specialized in electronics , there were mac questions from electronics so they were actually checking you knowledge about power engineering . its just an awesome why to hire an engineer . i salute NTDCL for this .

I was thinking the same thing. In a power related organization make the test related to electronics and communication and then ask interview questions about power . I SHALL ALSO SOLUTE TO NTDC !!!!!!!
