bro usually nts will mention the pattern by saying that 20% g.k and 80 % engineering, and in the test they will give you questions of comm. systems, data comm. etc, i need specific syllabus so that i may go through it, at the moment i am studying generation, transmission and distribution but keeping the ntdc test in mind i am sure that they will again ask power engrz questions of communication side,

I agree, that's why to be on the safe side, it's a better idea to give yourself a touch of electronics/basics communication too.

NTS usually does not give enough time for preparation. Last date of submission of forms is 26th Jan, i guess test date would be after two weeks. They should atleast upload syllabus now on website.

As i have experienced may be i am wrong NTS is just luck , as i secure 56 numbers in NTDCL test and believe you me i was not sure more then 20 Questions, so i think those who secure 60 got more luck then us at that time . NTS is not making sense in this case because thier test pattern and way of organizing a professional hiring exam is not good .
