Because psychological test was only ' Yes or No ' and didn't add anything to the merit of candidates. After the psychological test the cut off was set i.e 65/70 as per rules/policy.

I find this man to be the most accurate in terms of psychological test because the advertisement mentions:

Important Notes (Clause D):
Shortlisted candidates will be called for written/psychological test and subsequently further shortlisting will be done before the conduct of interviews, according to availability of vacancies.

According to this statement, the pool shortlisted for the written test is the same pool for psychological test and thereafter, a merit list will be prepared for the conduct of interviews and subject to qualifying, the individual shall be placed if seats are available.
I hope the ambiguity is reduced much. Prepare for the psychological test.

I find somebody saying there would be "English Descriptive Test" to be held, to answer that "Please don't confuse Assistant Director (NAB) with Assistant Director (Intelligence Bureau)". This job doesn't requires any English descriptive test.

Regards.

There will be no cut-off for psychological test. Everybody eligible to give written test shall be called for psychological test.

There are two tests in rows and merit list shall be prepared after the two-tests. I don't know what shall be the criteria for merit-list as they haven't mentioned that in advertisement but they've told to the masses that there will be two tests in line and merit list before interviews will be prepared. I hope I'm clear now.

This job surely does require English Subjective Test, in case you missed reading it. It was written right below the syllabus for JIO. Go, search for the syllabus again and you shall come across that tiny line I am talking about. Best of luck.

Yes. they just checked our IQ in that. I did the same while attempting "Other" section. i remember of 3,4 questions in which i turned over to law section and it helped me eliminate the wrong options.. I scored 76

Almost 10 candidates per seat will be called for psychological. There are no marks for psych test but cndidates will be rejected through this test. At the ene two candidates per seat will be called for interview.. In my opinion merit for punjab will be 70 plus..
