He was undergraduate student in electronic engineering at that time. He applied in a consortium program Mobility for Life in which his university was a partner university. It was great experience which opened the door of successful career. Moreover he was there as an exchange student therefore his credits were transfered at home university.

I applied for annual intake of sept, 2015. But I could not get it. And then someone told me that experience is really necessary in achieving it. Apart from experience, strong motivation and high language proficiency is needed.

Dear Jamil, Language is not a big issue in getting EM scholarships. Unless it is required by the programme you are applying. Moreover getting selected in joint master programme is highly competitive than exchange programmes.

Apart from academics you have to show strong motivation through your work experience or research interests and work done.

I am interested in getting admission for English Literature.
I already have master in English Literature, did research in Poetry. I did not get any job so far.

Is there any test for that? how should I apply?
are there any particular universities?

There are joint master programmes, in which one have to study in atleast 2 different universities of consortium. Mostly students from Pakistan get scholarships in Engineering and Science programmes.

There could be hardly any program related to English Literature in EM-Scholarship as far as I know. But, still you can find if there is any.

Moreover there is such type of test, but some of the programmes require GRE and English Language proficiency certificate.
Further, you can apply electronically through programme website, which are specific for each programme. Find some program, if available, then look for requirements on programme website and apply.

You better should apply for Commonwealth Scholarship or for Cultural Exchange Scholarship. They are usually announced in Nov and December and the test is conducted by NTS on the directions of Inter Provincial Coordination Ministry. The number of scholarships in Commonwealth Scholarship Program is very small and the competition very tough. While in Cultural Exchange Scholarship the number of scholarships is fairly good and people getting score above 70 have bright chances of getting scholarship. I appeared in the test for Cultural Exchange Scholarship and have been shortlisted. I have same background as I have Masters in English Literature and have now applied for PHD.
