Test was lengthy. A number of applicants on this forum has already said that they were not able to complete the test. And I do feel that there are some mistakes in analytical portion of key.

This sort of things happen in NTS tests. Last year the highest score in Cultural Exchange was 79. 'Highest'. On the other hand the cut off for Common Wealth was 82. So till the announcement of merit list one can not predict the cut-off marks of this test. NTS is always unpredictable.

I believe that this year the merit will be lower than last year's merit. So you can also be among the lucky ones. Let us wait for the merit list. Fingers crossed. Wish you best of luck.
I agree with you. It was a very lengthy test indeed. Test of about 4-5 hours was taken in 2 hours. I also have a feeling that some keys are wrong in the Analytical portion as I made the correct combinations and re-checked them again and again during the exam.

Anyway, I got 63 on KPK domicile, so it's a tough call I guess but I'm sure that merit will be low.

One more thing, when I came home, I opened American GRE book and found it so much easier and better. These GAT/GRE tests by NTS is pure injustice. They need to look at the Analytical portion of American GRE, you will find much easier and straight forward things. If NTS wants to keep their style then good but then the test should be of 4 hrs at least.

In past there have been much difficult tests and yet there were champions who scored above 90. So while we are keeping our fingers crossed let us keep looking for other opportunities :)

Out
78 from punjab so no chance for me. Best of luck to everyone else!
80 from Punjab, I am out too :(

Mahi you said the test was easy! I thought you would be scoring out 90. I found it pretty hard as I had to fill in choice C in the last 15 questions of analytical, of which only 1 is correct as per the answer key. Got 79 out of 85 attempted. Had I completed 10 more questions in time of not 15 :( could have managed 85+.

Brother do not want to disappoint you, but I think it is game over for you too.. Merit is high from KPK too only Balochistan and Sindh rural domicile holders can get away with such kind of scores.

umair.ali Monday, October 12, 2015 06:51 PM

Scored 92 in 2013, but the test was easier than this one up to my knowledge, this year analytical portion was fcrazy, took too long although it was solvable.

Best of luck umair.ali

This is the exact case that I was referring to. Those candidates who are cable of scoring 90+ will all fall in 80s. Almost all of us ran short of time. umair.ali and mahimalik consider this thing and you guys surely have bright chances. :))

P.S. All candidates from Sindh Rural with 80+ score report here.

This year I focused on verbal as in past years I scored well in analytical and quantitative and lost a lot of marks in verbal. This year I felt the verbal portion was really easy so I kind of assumed analytical was also easy and I performed bad because I was out of practice. So if a high scorer like umair brother is also saying it was tough I think I was wrong :)
Umair brother were you short listed in 2013? I got 84 that year and merit closed at 85.

Is there separate quota for rural and urban?
