I am really bewildered regarding the selection criteria of Hec for Indigenous Scholarship . The criteria mentioned for Phase 2 Batch 1 and Batch 2 on HEC website is different for years 2012 and 2013 respectively.
MERIT CUTOFF POINT FOR APPLICANTS SELECTED AGAINST CATEGORY "MS/MPHIL COMPLETED" ADVERTISED IN (JULY 2013)
MERIT BASE: {GAT GENERAL SCORE (50%)+HEC ACADEMIC EVALUATION FORMULA(50%)}
DOMICILE & DISCIPLINE WISE


Domicile/Discipline Azad & Jammu Kashmir Punjab/ Federal Capital Khyber Pakhtoon Khah Sindh Rural Sindh Urban FATA/FANA Baluchistan
Agriculture & Veterinary Sciences

While In batch 1 , it was category based, A and B and cut off point was about 73 for punjab (highest).And 80 or above is clearly not the cut off point in above.

Anyone can check the last merit cut off point from the following ,Infact at the end there is the Evaluation formula to find out your possible aggregate.
