I have been shortlisted (alternate candidate) for bilateral cultural exchange scholarship program by Chinese government for the academic year 2017. I received letter by courier today on 31st march whereas the last date for submitting related documents and pre requisites was 27th march. Seniors plz guide me how to avail this opportunity furthermore i need the prescribed medical proforma for the purpose mentioned above. Do explaim what is ulternate candidate? Should i put efforts and how much chances are to get this scholarship. Thanks

Actually one of my friend has been shortlisted. He did type above thread. Test score 69 and disciple commerce.

Alhamdulillah, By luck or by chance and certainly not by any reference/sifarish, I am in China for Doctoral program in Information and Communication Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology on Cultural Exchange Scholarship program 2017. I am really happy. It's a very good scholarship program worth trying. I am enjoying a vibrant company of really helpful Chinese "mathemagician" friends. Weather is really cold with heavy snowfall. Wish you all the best.
