Exclamation Question
I have been provisionally selected for the award under category A (Ph.D Enrolled),

In the application guideline they (HEC) have mentioned that the Supervisor must be HEC approved and must be from parent university/institute.

We don;t have HEC approved Supervisor in our department who has a permanent affiliation with our university , tough we have adjunct (Visiting/helping) Ph.D faculty (HEC approved), one of them gave me his consent to supervise.

do i still have a chance to get this award ??

I also got Indigenous phd scholarship..and submitted all the documents but yet not recieved any confirmation letter...I passed my GAT General in Social Sciences..Can i get addmisssion in Management sciences or Ms in (Mngmt Sciences/Business studies) as i have done masters in finance from PU???????? Coz many institutions are offering Management Sciences under social sciences programmes???Guide me please?

I have been selected also in the field of Social Sciences/Management Sciences. I had cleared GAT Social Sciences and have done MA Political Science but I have been selected for management sciences now facing trouble in getting admission in MS Management Sciences as some varsities are offering me admission in MBA rather than MS.........

The Award Process for Indigenous Scholarships takes 6 months to 1 year's time.

but they are supposed to send final award letter soon so we may know there is no need to worry.. admissions are open in different unis and i want an assurance before submitting the fees

Off course HEC should make many things clear specially financial matters. We have no idea about the exact financial support etc. Besides this we have no idea that whether they have accepted all our sent documents or not (i.e an kind of objection). I'm working in a government department on contract and can't apply for leave so I WAS about to leave the job but now I'm confuse and waiting for scenario to be cleared

I had contacted Project director SAIMA NOREEN via email and she replied me that information present at hec website regarding financial resources is valid, no change has been made. And final award letter will be issued after the submission of the admission letter. So just get admission as soon as possible and send the admission letter to hec.

If HEC doesn't change financial support then it would be bit difficult for new scholar to continue their studies without any job
