Please guide me, I have a question i my mind before seeking admission in Bilkent University. I have done Masters in Economics and my research proposal was also on economics on the basis of which HEC nominated me for scholarship. The requirement for admission in Bilkent University is 65% in economics which is higher than mine percentage. My question is WHETHER OR NOT I CAN CHANGE MY FIELD OF STUDY NOW? MAY I SEEK ADMISSION IN IR AND PUBLIC POLICY?
Please everyone on forum is requested to resolve my this query. Thanks

What i think if you will secure admission in your desired field, then HEC will allow you to do that.

Dear Shoaib
HEC has given the deadline to submit AcceptanceLetter/Admission Letter by February 2014. While deadline to apply for Business discipline is June 2014 which means we cant know status of admission before June 2014 if we have applied online or by post. What to do in this regard?

the deadline for engineering program is 6th of December ,,hopefully by the mid f January admission status will be clear,,Turkish universities didn't take too much time,,
i have no information about business/economics program...

which dept ? and for which session ? your batch ? for MS or direct Phd ?
as per my knowledge all those who apply in the early date will receive AMIGO,almost all international students. but it is not awarded to 100 % applicants.first come first serve basis. moreover, hec is going to pay 15000 instead of 5000, reduction in case of MIGO award.
You department will recommend you for this award as they will mention to International admission office that you have not applied for any departmental assistantship or financial aid.in short you have to keep in touch with department as they will entertain you better than the GEO, not Geo news ;-) (international admission office)
