hi Mr KAMB!!thanku for sharing it. but i would like to understand the procedure. like we are supposed to give just the test and no other formality is required????

Dear Sir,
I want to ask following questions? 1. Is it also for candidates having Masters of Arts in Social Sciences? 2. What would be the pattern of test? Is it same like GAT General? 3. Is it for MPhil or PhD? Hope you would guide us! |
please guide that which university and which subjects will be offered from these scholarships.

Common wealth scholarship is offered for all fields of study. There are 10 seats for Pakistan and 30 students will be nominated for scholarship out of them 10 will be selected to study in any top ranking university if United Kingdom.
First all candidates have to appear in test which is same like GAT-General but the difficulty level is higher than normal GAT test, so one who wants to compete for this scholarship must prepare well for it. After test, you will be contacted by IPC and they will further guide you regarding process. IELTS 6.5 band is required for getting admission in UK university and also Commonwealth commission will ask you for IELTS. please ask me if you wanna know something else. It is for Mphil leading to Phd. and yes those who have 16-years education can apply for it. |

There is no any official link regarding number of seats but in last batch I was appeared and it was told to us by IPC ministry that IPC will nominate minimum 30 students. because there are 300 seats total for all common wealth countries. you are in competition with other countries students. |

Do you think that It may become a wise decision to apply for only 30 nominated seats which are whole country based...????? Forget about NTS credibility they are only for their "MONEY MAKING POLICY"... but give me your personal opinion to apply or not...?? as you have already appeared in the last batch :)) |
