Anyway about your IPC question I think there was something in the letter. Let me find and review it and I'll let you know.
Yes, you should call them during their working hours 9: 00am to 5: 00pm (6: 00am to 2: 00pm PST). Just an e-mail would be sufficient, and they normally allow extension through e-mails.

Done. Had to call them. Extended till 9 sept. Anyway have you contacted IPC for funds? At least we should ask why we are made to sit in the gat subject test when we can get this same scholarship through direct application. Surely we should get some privilege. I'll also call them on Monday. $400 is not an insignificant amount.

Dear if you have two second divisions you may apply because it's not written any where in this advertisement or at nts website that candidates with two second divisions can't apply.

No dear. Also on what basis will I ask them? Because in my offer letter there is no mention of funds from Government Of Pakistan. Does your offer letter contain any such thing? Let me know so I'll call them.

One more thing I need to ask you. Why does Master in China take 2 to 3 years while it is 1 or 2 year in Pakistan? What are your class timings and is it like bsc I mean do you go to class everyday. Thanks for your input. I'm as much worried about IPC funds as you are. Are you able to manage in those ¥1700? Another member awais ali http://www.cssforum.com.pk/showthread.php?t=94792 has complained about lack of funds and this is negatively affecting the students. Your thoughts?

It was mentioned in last year's offer letters, for details check the link below:

If you want to study Chinese for one year, that will be 3 years Masters, otherwise 2 years (without Chinese language). It's your choice.

Ok so that's a cyclic reference ie quoting yourself as a proof of your own statement. Anyway now I'll phone them on Monday and ask about. I urge other users as well to keep calling them. Who knows they might bend and at least release some partial funds. Meanwhile I thank you for taking your time and raising your voice for all of us through the newspaper. Keep up the good work!

AOA, 1700 are more than enough for a single person, as the funds are concerned, there will be no funding from IPC still now unless the project is approved by the ministry which is I think a joke for the government to give funds to students going for education abroad instead filling their own pockets. So in all our agreements there is a statement "there will be no liabilities on IPC concerning any kind of funding."
Everyone should pressurized them to release funds. Hope it will get better and easier
