Default Scholorships on the basis of NTS GAT General
Asslam o Alaikum

I have recently got a fairly decent marks in NTS GAT General test, held 6 October 2013. I need a little help. I want to know all the scholarships that i can avail on the basis of NTS GAT General. I know few scholarships, such as Indigenous and Korean scholarships. But i want to apply on all of the scholarships, so to have a maximum chance of getting a scholarship. My score is 82.

Congratz. you have got very decent score. whats your field of study? in November HEC will announce 90% Overseas Scholarship for all fields of study. your chances are very high for forgn scholarship. later on, HEC will again announce HRDI-UESTP scholarship in April 2014. These both scholarships are suitable for you. best of luck. keep visiting HEC website

Improve your score dear. 75+ is fighting score as far as Punjab is concerned.

Default merit list confusion
can anyone explain hot to interpret the merit list on hec website, link is http://www.hec.gov.pk/InsideHEC/Divi...stsforKPK.aspx
what does N/A means in engineering group? and if you score above cut-off range in GAT test then you get automatically qualified for scholarships? and secondly on their website they have merit lists for every province and a merit list named "merit list of merit" what does that suppose to mean. I am from KPK and have scored 76 in GAT. soo should i retake gat and get to atleast 80 or is it enough.

I also do not understand why its not applicable for Engineering field. And ya, Cutoff means that that was the least score who got scholarship in last batch. I gives you a really good idea what score you should have!

But i does not mean that you totally rely on that, Always aim to have score 100/100..... I am sure you can improve.
