Hec has announced 600 scholarships for scholars of Baluchistan of which 200 scholarships are foreign and 400 are indigenous. Anyone can share his experience and info about these scholarships here

last date to apply for these scholarships has been extended to 25 oct according to hec website instead of 20 oct due to eid holidays.

These are fresh scholarships so no one has any ideas about it. What's your GAT general score?

these scholarships are district quota based and merit based so there chances for students of every district to get selected regardless of score been low if there is low competition on district quota

District quota means candidates of Quetta and other areas having high competition have to suffer!

My GAT score is 73, I am Local of Quetta.

Share your GAT score and district of domicile.

i have confirmed with hec. it says that last date to apply was 20 oct but reciept of application last date has been extended to 25 oct.

Any idea which district has more competition regarding GAT score?

That's obviously Quetta and the Pashtoon belt of Balochistan namely Zhob, Pishin, Loralai, and Chaman.

Of-course not, we have many brilliant students from the baloch belt, but over all there is far less competition in baloch belt as compared to pashtoon belt and Quetta.

Yes you are right when you express the probability of high competetion in pashtoon belt. The reason is though obvious bro. Most of the pastoon districts share close proximity with the provincial capital,and thus, unlike baloch students, they get a chance to obtain quality primary education in relative terms. On the contrary, the talented baloch students have been kept deprived of all their basic rights onall fronts by both their selfish Baloch leaders and the establishment. Nevertheless, it'san achievement on their part (baloch students) if they have completed 16 yrs of their education and stand at least eligible for such scholarships. No matter how less competition they confront.
