I have applied for MS leading to PhD in English Literature. I am also confused how to proceed further. How to secure admission etc. Do you have any idea how to get admission there and what is the admission criteria ? Moreover what is your subject in Social Sciences? and do you know anybody else who has been shortlisted for METU?

@ darwesh..
i am in touch with batch 4 n 5 hec scholars studying there at METU..so far the information i have collected is that getting admission in METU is not as easy as in others universities..GAT score is acceptable instead of GRE but IELTS is a must..my field is public administration and my desired department requires 7 bands in ielts..you can check your programs requirements from uni. website. admission for fall semester will open in may-june.

Why is it difficult to get admission in METU, any precise reason? Is there any relaxation for HEC scholars at METU?
Are you sure Feroz A that GAT score is acceptable instead of GRE? Should we apply online or take help from some consultancy?

almost 1 year has passed , i applied , i had 81 marks in GAT social science
i got no reply from hec ,many months have passed, tel me how to confirm ??

Bro, what was your GAT general score and domicile?

PS: I have Master degree in Public Administration and I intend to apply for 90% scholarships next time.

Aoa,
I have been shortlisted for University of New Wales, Australia under Hec's 90% scholarship scheme............i dont know any of the precedures regarding this unversity and hec's deadline for admission....i emailed to hec but no reply...as candidates selected for france and some other unversitites have received emails from hec regarding their admission schedules.....i need guidance from if anyone here shortlisted for the same university....
