Default What to do guide me

I am selected for indigenous scholarship. but I want some advice from the members here. I am very confused and don't know what to do. My GAT score is 87 in physical science from Punjab. That means I have a fair chance of getting selected for overseas scholarship too. HEC has extended the deadline of overseas scholarship till 5 may. I don't know how to write research proposal. I don't know anything about it. and If I start writing a research proposal can I produce an effective one well before 5 may. I am not working currently though I have applied for quite a no. of jobs. Also I have done just m.sc physics so that means that i'll have limited choice when it will come to universities in foreign countries. Or I should study m.phil here without availing the indigenous schoilarship and after that avail overseas scholarship for ph.d. Oh God! I don't know what to do.

Members I can do with some advice and do need it critically at this point. I want advice from someone as I have no one in family or friends who can help me in this regard so please advise me what to do.

AoA

i). You can do istikhara.

ii). If you work hard, you can easily prepare your research paper well ahead of deadline i.e. May 05. So go for it.

iii). Give a try because a foreign university will give you varied experience and its degree will have more recognition than that held from a Pakistani university.

iv) In case you are not able to get foreing scholarship, even then hopefully you will be able to secure indigenous scholarship. That is also a good option because you will be studying free of cost and can simultaneously do some work /part time job etc!

Good luck and stay blessed.

Research proposal is not a difficult task. You can easily prepare it by getting guidelines from internet. You should apply for overseas scholarship as foreign degree has greater value. Your GAT score is also good so there are more chances of your selection provided that you have strong educational background. Last date for ingenious scholarship is 30th sept, so you have enough time to think about it. Don't worry and start preparing your proposal.

Default overseas higher studies versus indiginious higher studies

if you think you can score 310 near about in GRE Opt UNM-USA as first option and apply for overseas.
if you think UNSW Australia is good for your programme get enrolled in MS in Pakistan and apply for Phd after sometime.
Hec do not provide wide range of choices for MS in overseas. Moreover , The ranking of universities (except France) is below average for MS pool.

inshort , now it is up to your destinations and goals. dont rush for overseas, thilocks that are far away looks green. i can suggest you avail indigenous. if you are also selected for overseas in future you can get NOC from hec to avail overseas by paying the amount they spent on you with 25% penalty.dont worry there are enormous ways to tackle that situation which you face subsequently.
i can be in a better position to offer you a more clear answer if you state you position clearly.

I am selected for indigenous scholarship, but confused whether to accept it or not. I had 79 in GAT with 90 % in B.S. As my field is agriculture so I cannot avail overseas.

I am very much confused myself too. Also I have no one to guide, that is why I am seeking advice on this forum.
1). I have applied for several government jobs the results of which are yet to be announced.
2). I also applied for scientific officer job in KRL but the interview did not go that well. Still I'm hoping against hope that I'l get selected.
3). I am not doing any job at the moment. and have wasted the last two years.
4). I am also going to apply for fellowship in pieas.
5).Also I'm unsure which specialized field to pursue in m.s
so I think this is it. I don't know where to turn..

Brother current financial status and your social responsibilities can surely determine your shart term strategy. also, how lofty your ideal is,this important factor can be very much help full in decision making regarding your choice.
in simple words, gather information and put yourself in the long session of self queries.
Are you accepting indigenous offer just to get a meagre financial support ?
or you just want to complete your MS in order to develop and refine research aptitude in order to get somewhere (Phd only), where you can fulfil your dreams.
Do you want to get yourself in a prestigious institute (MS-Phd) of top world ranking in far future ?
you do not have any dream or plan you just want to avoid current stressful condition of being unemployed ?
multiple factors should be analysed, each and every aspect must be considered thoroughly.in fact you burn your boats when you make decisions about pursuing a successful career with Higher education. your every decision would be ultimate in this regard so advance with great care.
