CSC doesn't assign password. It's all in the applicant's control.

Our old medical certificate is worthless in visa process unless it is from the embassy designated hospital. May be it has a use after we land in China for medical insurance. But for visa process new one from embassy designated hospital is required. This rule is not applicable for consulate in Karachi because all hospitals are in Islamabad.

Most of the universities do not send email to selected bilateral scholarship applicants. They just forward to CSC which will send to IPC. These applicants will know their results in end of July or start of August. Most of us haven't been contacted by any of the universities.

By the way Xi'an Jiotong has selected an IPC candidate for Electrical Engineering and sent him email.

Recently, many Chinese universities have been uploading lists of the selected students for University-CSC scholarship. What do you think! Can IPC students be in that list?

My application status on CSC website shows!

"Your application has already been recovered".

What does that mean? Can anybody help?

Is a selected candidate required to deposit admission fee or CSC will pay his/her every type of dues??

Already steps are listed as sequence considering the time we have to complete the process. If you start tomorrow you can get everything done by first or second week of August without any hurry and worry.


Remember you need a passport for 3, 4 and 5. Passport office takes 10 working days to issue ordinary passport (normal procedure) and 1 to 2 days to ship from headquarter to regional offices (Rs. 3000). Urgent procedure takes 4 days (Rs. 5000).
