Moreover, at many universities students receive stipend on 25th of each month so if you go on 28 then you will recieve your first stipend on 25 Oct and this year there is no settlement subsidy so you should take enough money with you to survive approximately whole month. Below is the most likely expense other than food and personal needs
1- university registration/application fee 500 to 800 rmb(my university didn't take)
2- medical 60 rmb(if Chinese acupuncture center has declared you fit and you have the complete report like blood test, x Ray report and ecg) to 400 rmb.
3- 400 rmb for resident permit
4- 500 to 2000 rmb depending on your university as security deposit for accommodation
5- mobile sim of China unicom 200 rmb

1 USD is equal to 6.3 rmb so if you can't find rmb to buy then buy USD and get them converted from Chinese banks.
PS: you should have enough rmb with you to pay for taxi and initial 3 days. You can get USD converted to rmb from Beijing airport too, not sure about other airports, but exchange rate won't be as good as bank's, like I was getting rate of 6.06 rmb for 1usd.

Your experience sharing is very informative. Is RMB and Chinese Yuan the same currency?

Yes, CNY and RMB are same. I got CNY from Pakistan for Rs. 17, and USD for Rs. 105. So in my opinion buying USD is better option as it cost me Rs. 16.48 per yuan as compared to directly buying CNY at Rs. 17. But buying CNY is hassle free. On the other hand you have to go to the bank anyway to open your account to receive stipend.

Q2: I have done B.E and scored 69 in commerce/Management (KPK). Can I opt for MBA based on my Bachelors in Engineering?
A: Yes you can opt for MBA and you stand a fair chance of making it to the merit list based on your NTS score.

Q3: Will I be needing IELTS or GMAT/GRE for admission?
A: No you wont need them.

Same query here bro, I am engineering graduate. May I have choice to select test category other than engineering. Such as I select Social Science and appear in test in this category?

you can not, if you want to change your category then you have got to appear in the written of your own department and after clearing the test you may change your department and apply for masters in another category, otherwise your form will be rejected.

source?
I have called to IPC, and according to IPC, engineer can apply in social sciences or in other field. and also asked about more than one tests, if any one is interested.........they said that all tests are taken at a time.......

Then it means that NTS can reject our application.
