Default HEC Scholarship : Faculty Development of UESTPs/ UETs
Applications are invited from outstanding Pakistani/AJK nationals for the award of scholarships in Engineering sciences/Management Sciences/Social Sciences for Ms leading to PhD and direct PhD program in Germany, Italy, Belgium, South Korea, Turkey, USA, Malaysia, Honk Kong, UK and strengthening the faculty/both in numbers and quality, at existing Universities of Engineering & Technology (UETs) is in line with Government's priorities to give emphasis to higher education.

can any one share the Complete List of universities ? as on HEC website they mentioned many countries But not Universities from all the Countries they mentioned.

In Online Application form What to Put in the NTS Roll Number Box If someone has to appear in the NTS GAT Test.

Though the title of the Scholarship is Faculty development for UESTP but it is not compulsory that applicant must be faculty member of some University. But he/she will be faculty member of some UET after completion of Ph.D

When you will be shortlisted than HEC will send you the list of Universities with whom HEC feel comfortable to do further process. So at this moment you just select from the given options. Mostly for Germany all the Universities are included but you have to get acceptance letter from Professor and only PhD students are considered for that.
Italy and Belgium has 1, 1 University with Whom HEC has MOU.
Though HEC mentioned UK, China, France and Malaysia but mostly these were not given.

As per advertisement,student of engineering and technology fields are eligible to apply.However,hec website is showing students of Management and other fields can also go for scholarship this time.someone please clear the confusion.

Anyone has previous exp about this scholarship, mean merit etc, how many marks in GAT can secure this scholarship? I have 65 in my GAT.....

salam everyone
I've 70 marks in GAT General and 3.4/4 CGPA in civil engg
SSC 79.6%
FSc 74 %
do i stand a chance for this scholar-ship or should i try and re-appear for the next GAT general to score high and what about research proposal and stuff Plus i dont have PEC card yet, applied this month, is it compulsary to have PEC card for this?
sorry never applied for any HEC scholarship before :p

in the Previous batch they have given chance to Management Sciences people to apply on this scholarship so they have made the title so. But actually this scholarship is only for engineering and Technology candidates.
This time Management Sciences people are not eligible to apply.
I am from Management Sciences field and was selected under this scholarship in the previous batch.
MBA people are not eligible for this.
