Post Resignation procedure from 17 Grade Permanent Lecturer Post
Dear All,

i would be highly grateful to the person who can tell me in detail the procedure if someone wants to resign from their lecturer post of grade 17 from Higher Education Department. Some people say one cannot resign before 2 years and if one does they have to return all the pays etc. Can someone please shed some light on this.

You can resign from the post of lectureship at any time even within the first two years of your service if your resignation is accepted by the chief minister of KPK as the ultimate authority with no need to return the pays. On the other side, you will have to continue your service if your resignation is not accepted by the ultimate authority.

You will have to give a one month prior notice expressing your request to be relieved of your service on the specified date that will be forwarded to Directorate of higher education. On that specified date you will submit a formal resignation and from that day onwards you will be relieved. There is no complication in this process.
