yup...100% sure that passing marks are 40.mine 55 from zone 4

40 marks are passing marks, but that may not be enough to be shortlisted in zone 2 or 3 or 4, tu dua karte raho apne leya.

yes it is 40. it was mentioned in the adv. the commission resrve the right to shortlist candidates on marks below 40 if the quota could not be maintained by the above marks

No, 40 was the benchmark, if nobody passed it, then again the test would have been taken, there would not be any shortlisting. The benchmark can go up only if many candidates take more marks than the benchmark.

40 are passing marks..for every one seat there are 50 candidates are eligible.this is what commission mentioned so far
