Thanks dear. but these interviews experiences are of CSS. Are psychological tests and viva for PMS conducted with the same pattern? Isn't there any difference? All those aspirants who have gone through this process in KPPSC, please share your experiences and test pattern.

There were two female psychologists. Those candidates who's document were complete got their final interview letters and their interview will be on 19 September. However, in my case, they lost my DPC, that is why I couldn't get my final interview letter. I provided them my DPC and then they said they will dispatch my letter via post. My interview date will be most probably on 28 September.

Darksider bro!

You had also qualified last time. What was your score and merit number? 2ndly How do you compare your last experience with the recent PMS2016? Which one was tough and how? What do you think about marks in written portion of PMS2016, as i heard people saying marking is low.

Tauqeer Yousafzai Friday, September 15, 2017 03:28 PM

Other members of the forum are also requested to kindly share their experience of group discussion topic and psychological interview.

My score in PMS 2013 was 642 in written and 130 or so in interview. As PMS 2016 was my second attempt and most questions in most of my optional papers was repeated from PMS 2013, I guess the exam went OK for me as compare to last time. Exam seem to be easy for me this time except for Pakistan Affairs paper. This time optional subjects like Psychology, Indo Pak History, IL, English Literature and Sociology etc seem to be hit pretty hard, and almost every other candidate must have atleast one of these subjects so it is natural that score might be moderate this time. Because, I remember, last time majority of failed DMC had 700+ marks, and this time I have seen only a very few DMCs of failed candidates who crossed 700. But you never know about the passed one. There will be some brilliant candidates who might score 760+ this time too.

What are your optionals? papers of Indo pak history and Political science were tough enough. I did well in Indo pak though. How your interview went in 2013? why such a low score?

My optionals are:
Psychology
Journalism
Muslim Law
Public Administration
International Relations

My final interview went really well, as most of my interview was related to my job. However, my interview with psychologists and group discussion went terrible (in my opinion), I think that might be the reason.

Well I took the psychological interview and group discussion very lightly and went there totally unprepared. I had no points what so ever to add in group discussion and also when the psychologists were asking questions I couldn't answer convincingly.

Dear as per the psychological interview questions you have shared in this thread, it seems very easy to answer as these are just normal personal questions. How could you fail to answer such questions?
Secondly one of my friend who appeared last time told me that he came late to the group discussion and couldn't know what was going there for a while. so he participated very little there yet scored well in Viva.

I am not talking about the recent questions asked, I am talking about the questions asked in PMS 2013. And may be this is my thinking that my score of interview is low because of bad performance in overall psychological interview and GD. May be there were something else, but it didn't matter. Because my score in written was also very low, so it wouldn't have made any difference even if I had scored 200+ in the interview. Another thing I would like to mention is that majority of candidate's scores in interview were low in PMS 2013. Most of them scored between 120-140 marks in interview. Overall, the top score in interview was 190.
