Dear Adil,can you please tell me how to apply for kpk commission for general recruitment.
1)To be more specific,i have applied for two posts in bps 17.the statement above advertisement says online apply for bps 17.Now i have challan slip of 285 ruppes.
2)when i applied online a form appeared which mentioned documents to be sent.I haven't send docments yet.shall i send documents.

Offcourse you have to send the documents in hard dear.

For all the Jobs of B-17 and above, you have to apply online using the challan number. fill the online form and submit. take a print out of the admission certificate appearing at the end and attach the challan form and all the required docs and dispatch to KPK public service commission.

First of all, sorry for my late response as I was having some connectivity issues....
Yes, you need to submit hard copies of your documents as per the guidelines of KPPSC, which should reach the commission within 10 days after the last date of the advertisement. As I was contending with a fellow member the other day that this online system is not in place to serve the candidates but to serve the commission by easing the process of data uploading to the system. It will serve the candidates in terms of expediting the recruitment process......
secondly, you can apply to any post online, it doesn't matter whether that is a BPS 17 post or higher or even below.

i have sent my documents today.The kpk commission process is complex.The documents requirement is unnecessary and cumbersome.Honestly, after three failed attempts to get just candidature in kpk tests,i am still unsure what would be outcome this time.

Yeah! sometimes it starts getting on one's nerves, but be patient, you'll get used to it. I applied for some posts back in 2015, but the KPPSC is yet to arrange its screening tests....... But even that's not that big a problem, there are some very serious problems in its policies e.g., its Academic Evaluation Formula is not in sync with the education system that our province offers, if you get an MPhil/MS degree by doing research you'll get only one mark, while if you get an extra relevant degree by study of notes you'll get two extra marks: how ridiculous!

Well, if you want to succeed in all of the general recruitment tests that you apply for, then pick one of the following strategies:1. Long term: Give a comprehensive read to all compulsory subjects in the CSS/PMS syllabus and note down its important points/events/dates et al.,Read a good newspaper and note down anything important (dates, names etc) that comes into your way in a seperate notebook.Improve your English vocabulary and grammar by consulting a good dictionary during the course of your (newspaper's) study. Give all this stuff a read before going to any test for general recruitment, success is guaranteed IA. 2. Short term: Compile all questions that have been asked in the MCQs part of those compulsory subjects and solve them in a notebook. Compile all questions that have been asked in the general recruitment tests (AD,Inspector,DAD-IB-FIA-ASF'MOD and all other relevant tests with a general syllabus containing English, Pak Affairs, Current Affairs, EDS, Islamiat and Basic Arithmetics) and solve them.....You can get material from market in the form of a guide for one paper MCQs based tests.Good luck!
