Yes, but only in General Recruitment cases not in any Competitive Exams. For confirmation, visit www.kppsc.gov.pk and read the amended rules 2017. Good luck!

Someone told me quite the opposite(around 42k haha). Another person working in almost the same capacity assured me of 34k package. And your guess (which might be right) just shows the nominal earning of a so called 16 scale officer/clerk...Then what's the point of doing such jobs? What about BPS-17 then?

BPS-17-30370: A lump sum salary may be there somewhere between 42k-44k. Just google the current fixation and add other allowances e.g., adhoc etc., and you'll get all of the information that you need. Regards

That's why i used a slash... officer(in the eyes of our milieu) cum Clerk(in reality)... one more thing if u could choose between SPS 4(PAEC) and BPS(16), which one's the better?

Well dude, it depends on the mindset of the person to whom these options are offered. PAEC is very generous in compensating its employees but life there would be a restricted one as this institution is sort of insulated from the corruption that we see in our other civilian institutions, so, PAEC is better in terms of pay while the other is better in terms of *you guess what. Regards
