Default Safe and potentially par score in PMS-2018's Written Exam?

Hi fellow PMS Aspirants ! In terms of how tough or easy PMS 2018's written papers were, what, according to you, would be a safe and potentially par score in the written exam this time around?

I suppose 680+ in the written keeping in view previous outcome of the result. In addition, if you can help me to understand more about PMS. Do they have similar groups like CSS exam? I mean they never asked us to prioritize choices in the form. I don't really understand PMS. I mean as per hearsay PMS is just limited to one's province, but is not the only difference I assume. What are other differences?

I really want some eloquent description of PMS because half knowledge is consuming me

P.S Not that I'm very hopeful to clear the exam. But just incase you know :p

Well PMS is for provincial level hence these posts are only for the establishment department. Once an aspirant clears the exam and become a pms officer he/she will be posted as either AC or Section officer in the various departments of kp government

A score of 650+ will be considered safe as per my view

Well since there are more seats this time, therefore your view sounds more reasonable. I think last time 680+ lied in the safe zone.

In my opinion, if one is to harbour any hope of making it to the final list, he/she should score in excess of 700 at the very least.

Generally speaking, if one is to harbour any hope of making it to the final list, he/she should score in excess of 700 at the very least. However, it does not imply that all is lost for those falling short of the 700 mark provided they score somewhere around 670-680 and do exceedingly well in the interview.

Agreed. There are countless examples from CSS and Last PMS where candidates scored extremely well in viva voice despite having not so shiny scores in written part. any ways lets see where the wind blows
