Leave admissible to government servants in kpk

I have two questions regarding leave of a government servant:
1. Can leave be taken in probation period?
2. For how long can a government servant can take leave after the completion of probation period?
Anyone who has been through this process please comment.

Kind of Leaves Admissible to Govt. Servants

Mainly there are two kinds of leaves admissible to Govt. Servants (either Federal of Provincial Govt. employee):-
i. Casual Leave
ii. Earned Leave

i. Casual Leave:
20 days casual leave is allowed to a Federal Government employee in a calendar year. While 25 days are admissible for KPK Government employee in a calendar year. Any government employee on probation period can also avail it. If anyone does not avail this kind of leave then it (or its balance) will lapse at the end of that year. For the next calendar year again 20 / 25 days Casual Leave will be allowed for whole of the year.

ii. Earned Leave
There are different rules for Vacation Departments and Non-Vacation Departments. Government employees either federal or provincial serving in Non-Vacation Departments (where there are no vacations like summer vacations, winter vacations etc.) earn 4 days leave per month which is added in their credit. It means 48 days per year. It does not lapse till retirement if not availed. Before retirement, government employees take one year LPR (Leave Preparatory to Retirement) from credit of this kind of leave. Those who do not avail LPR before retirement, then this kind of leave is encashed in shape of many. That is the reason, it is called earned leave.
Generally authorities do not allow this kind of leave to government employees on probationary period. A newly appointed official accumulate sufficient credit of such leave (48 days per year) then he avails this leave. However, there is no hard and fast restriction on allowing a probationer to avail this kind of leave, if the authority is satisified to grant it.
There are further sub-categories of earned leave as follows:-
Leave on Full Pay:
120 days without medical certificate
180 days with medical certificate
Leave on Half Pay
Available credit of leave can be converted to half pay. One day leave credit is converted to two days half pay leave.
Leave not due
Up-to maximum 365 days on full pay in entire service provided in first 5 years, it will not exceed 90 days
Recreation leave
15 days leave with debit of 10 days from leave account, once in a calendar year.
LPR
Upto maximum of 365 days before retirement.
Study Leave
Not allowed to employees on probationary period.
Generally allowed after service of 5 years.
It is allowed on half pay (in Punjab on Full Pay) and it is not debitted from leave account.
Extraordinary leave
It is leave without pay.
Leave Ex-Pakistan
Any of the above kind of leave allowed to travel abroad.

There are many other kinds of leave which are granted for special purposes like disability, maternity etc.
