When do you anticipate the announcement of cut-off, and when do you think would the written exam be held?

Monday max the cut-off will be announced. If the previous 25/1 would have maintained then the written were confirmed in sept of this year. However, owing to reduction in cut-off the number of candidates will increase from 2500 to 10,000. The written will be held in nov or max december of this year InshaAllah

PS: possibility of an earlier written cannot be ruled out

Bro, I also know someone who's dad is batchmate and good friend of the Chairman (6th Ctp) and he told me this morning that kppsc intends to fight till the end and will not bow to pressure. The discussion was a lollipop given to protestors. If court decision is in favour of kppsc, the 25/1 policy will remain..come what may.

Let's see.

Court will decide in favour of kppsc since in the case of tehsildar, precedent has already been set by PHC. I hope that a manageable number of candidates appear in the written part. Veterans of last pms had to wait for 10 months for the announcement of the written result

Just in, qualifiers of pms screening have written a letter to chairman kppsc regarding maintaining the 25/1 policy.
Their arguments
1) Kppsc already informed about the contents of the screening about 5 months ago
2) Those aspirants who worked hard and came within their respective threshold, should not be ignored for a few failed candidates
3) Too many aspirants in written will result in alot of time to check papers
4) Covid is another issue and a large number of candidates can create health related issues

More updates will be shared soon.

One thing to realize: The allocation through competitive exams has more to do with luck than hard work. Exams that are based on rote learning, are limited to certain narratives, and involve so many papers/areas that are of no practical use for the job at hand, I don't think that the most competent persons are deservedly selected through such exams.(If they were, our cities would have transformed, system upgraded, and living standards raised.) My thoughts go out to all those who were made to meet with failure. Let us hope that this old system inherited from others may change in near future and the state is able to create more jobs for the youth bulge.
