Can seniors please give some advice on the marks trend of history subjects. I had opted European History initially but after seeing how much it is butchered in CSS I decided to shift to British History. What is the marks trend of British History in PMS? Is it safe to opt or should I select any other history subject? I am looking to opt any history subject which complements political science but the most important factor is obviously the marking trend. This is the sole reason why I dropped European History even though it has been one of my fav subjects since college days. Would really appreciate any help in this regard.

EH and BH are both scoring in PMS. I opted BH in css and was able to score 70/100. In pms couple of aspirants opted BH and they with normal prep scored between 110-130. Plus they usually ask about the glorious revolution, whig oligarchy, reform acts etc

There are some subjects which are considered safe or scoring but there is no way to find out exactly which subject will be targeted next year. It is a risky game. You can lose your strength in following trends.

Can you please share the sources that you utilized in your BH preparation? I am currently preparing from Norman's book but it doesn't have topics pre-waterloo.
