salam to all.
NWFP psc announced the result of 18 tehsildar and 62 naibtehsildar. i am also selected as Naib tehsildar.... thanx GOD.
PRESS RELEASE

It is notified for information of all concerned that in consequence to this Commission advertisement No. 02/2006 for 18 (Eighteen) posts of Tehsildar and 62 (Sixty Two) posts of Naib Tehsildar. After the Competitive Examination, the Commission conducted interviews of 4,154 qualified candidates w.e.f 21-2-2008 to 10-10-2008. As a result of interviews the Commission has finally recommended the following candidates to the Government for appointment as per detail given below.

sir i want to ask how much time a naib tehsildar take to become a tehsildar and a tehsildar to d d o r and what kind of questuins they ve asked in intervew plz reply i am waiting

My dear I am also preparing to attempt written test for Naib-Tehsildar under PPSC. Plz post the written test u have passed. Our will be MCQ

well i am selected from NWFP... abut 18 thosand candidats applite for the posts.
1st there was a screening test of two essays one in urdu and one in english... then who qualified appeard in full PCS exam of 5 papers.... then 4154 candidats qualified for intervw.... a huge number..... and finally after intervw 80 get selected..... now my traing with otherz commencing from 2nd feb.
my intervw was very fine.
1st introduction....
then some questions abt my LLB.... my marks.... and position etc.
then the november 3 issue..... iftekhar ch; case discussd.
then constitutional history of pakistan and molve tamizuddin case.
then questons from Land revenue act..... and funtions of revnue officers.
some question abt my hobbies and intrests etc.
thats all..... took almost 25 mints.

sir thanks u ve told us about ur intervew sir but u ve not told how much time a naib tehsildar take to become a tehsildar whether he has to pass departmental test sir plz convey this information

Tehsildar / Naib Tehsildar Exam Result Card
 

I also appeared in the said exam and qualified all the stages and got a result card from the NWFP Public Service Commission stating my marks only (they are above 500).
What I didn't understand is that I didn't get any regret letter etc. stating why I was not selected. Otherwise usually the commission states the reason for example zonal limitations etc.
Please can anyone tell me what were the final marks for merit etc. I am from ZONE 4 (Bannu)

I left for UK to pursue further studies back in October and have no immediate access to resourseful people since then.
All I know is that I got good marks.
I am waiting for your replies.

well genleman.....
ya u got good marks..... but merit was diffrent for differnt zones.
ur marks are not that much to be selected.....means u are not in merit.
our trainig started from today.
from commission u recievd only the DMC..... and thats all.... there was no any letter of regret to any one.... bcoz the total candidates were 4154 iterviewd.

Islah G,
I hope u r enjoying ur training of NAIB-tehsildar.
I am also selected as Naib-Tehsildar and i want 2 know about the training process, i mean about the period of training etc............

How much time will this training take before we are posted in our respective zones.

i hope u will enoy the training....

well as for as punjab is concernd the full schedule of trainnig and other process will be availbale for u from the board of revnue.

in NWFP we statrd traing from 2-2-2009 and will be in acadmy for four months that is till 30th may,

then we will go for settelement training to chitral for four months...

then there is a four months attachment in my own tehsil..... i think after that we will be posted somwhere in a setteled district or agency to become guests of taliban for some time...hahhahaha
