Default About PMS..

my dear drqasim, PMS officers will be offered positions like:

Assistant Politcal Agents
DDO(Revenue)
DDO(Judicial)
TMO
Section Officers
and last but not the least
ACOs, EDOs etc...

the positions of DDO(R) and DDO(J) are only for PMS officers...
you can go through PMS rules at the website: www.nwfp.gov.pk

P.S. Islah you please elaborate more on these points

thanx brother,

it was very helpful........thats what i heard to.....in punjab CSPs r working as DDO revenue......and if PMS officers given the same status in NWFP.that means it is as good as CSS........the promotion standards which are proposed for PMS and yet to be followed also favour if it will be as good as CSS,as far as NWFP is concerned.....need your comment, information and opinion in this regard as well.thanx once again.

Cool To Miss Zeenat

age limit is usually 30 while govt servants have 5to 10 years relaxation which is mentioned in advertisement.
exam is generally taken in December while one has to apply in June, July or may be August. it has got is syllabus which is much easier and shorter than css syllabus. since u are prepared for css so dont worry at all. just hang on to ur study and offer your prayers and also keep me in ur prayers... if ever any help in english etc then plz hang on through cssforum.com i'd be glad to help out all who need my help.

Regards,

Amjad Nasser

To my knowledge the age relaxation for a govt servant is 5 years not up to 10 years.......
Secondly, the PMS schedule for NWFP is not predictable because it arranges the exam according to the vacancies unlike other provinces specially Punjab where PMS exams are normally held in pre specified months every year. We have already entered into the month of June but so far no advertisement for PMS.
3rdly, the syllabus for PMS is exactly the same and neither easier nor shorter than that of CSS. One has to study with full energy for PMS in order to enjoy the fruit of his/her labour......

my dear drqasim, it is true that in punjab CSS officers are working as DDO(R). there are mainly two reasons for this:
first these officers want to serve in punjab only and as there are few seats of ACOs, they are adjusted to these posts and the other reason is that there is a chance of revival of the majisteracy system and DDO(R) may enjoy then the powers under section 30 of CR.PC..
In nwfp, where there is a scarcity of DMG officers, the PCS(secreteriat ) group officers are filling the positions of ACOs, DCOs, commissioners, and if the trend continues, then the atleast the PMS of NWFP will be the DMG of NWFP..

Default thanx bro,

dear farrukh,

thank you so much for your reply and input........infact i also have the very same view that its only due to the scarcity of the CSPs in NWFP.....and under the prevailing circumstances,it appears if their shortage will continue....the point which i tried to make is with the decided mode and speed or rate of promotion of PMS officers,i think it will be as good as CSS.whats your opinion about it .?

regards
