how r u all.......first of all congratulations to all those who have made it to PMS...........bohat bohat mubarik ho..........what i would like to ask can anyone suggest when exactly will the interviews for the successful candidates will start.

I think no one can predict the interviews timeframe for PMS because as we have said earlier several times that PCS activities are normally not well discilpined and organized due to many reasons.........Even the statements of different PCS officials on the same issue do not hang together so be patient and just wait ...........................

Many congrats to those whose qualified the written part.
Does anyone know about merit seats allocation? There are 41 seats to be filled on merit.
I want to know whether these seats will be distributed according to zonal quota (e.g. 9 each Zone I,II,III and 7 each to IV,V) or top 41 candidates will be selected on merit?

well,
dear all congrats those who have qualieied the PMS exam and best of luck to thse who hav faild in it. thnaks to GOD, IM one among the pass candidts. i have visited pcs office and came to knw tht our itervw wll b after eid. but till yet i m not certain whethr it will b after eid r b4 it bcz nobody was sure to abt its schdule.

as far as the merit seats are concernd so thy r 41 and first 41 candidats wll b consider in merit irrespecive of thier zons.there z no limitation of the candidtes for the open merit.

im serving as a Assistnt sub inspector in police department and nowadys bzy n training here in Hangue. i was appointe by the nwfp pcs against the said post. bt now im inlurch, having no time to prepare for my intervw. please do pray for all of us.

apologies me for my gramatical mistakes bcz im wrting from my mobile keypard in whch it is hard to rpeat and typ all the alpabet acuratly. moreover, my typing speed is also slow. sorryyyyyyyyy

still a big question mark lies on the fact that what is there to offer to them who will eventually pass the whole PMS Exam inshallah.......plenty of rumours in this regard circulating around the people........kindly let us informed what exactly will be the allocations......secondly,rumours are also on rampage that PMS of NWFP will be the CSS or DMG of the province and the qualifers will surely have a career oriented jobs,unlike earlier where PCS Officers were over shadowed by the CSPs and use to wait for ages forpromotions and lucrative postings..........kindly enlighten all of us in this regard

yes i agree with khan sahib....kindly have full details about the service structure and career prospects of PMS......as there is a lot of dilemma in this....i would appreciate it if any fellow could shed some light on this.

so for interviews r concerned, the process'll be initiated after eid,reason being final result;ll be announced somewhere in late december or in january at most.besides, some says that recruitment'll be made through pms as edo finance, section off, e.aco etc depending on where the oficer is needed.
moreover, merit seats'll be filled by the 41 toppers irrespective of their quota as said earlier.
rest, just pray and start gearing for interview.praying indeed indispensible for sucees need praying and hard work, both r concomitant.

i dont agree with my brother here...he posted number of posts but i dont think a fresh PMS officer will be allocated any one of thm.....EDO is a 19 grade job,way out of reach of a 17 grade PMS officer,Extra AC's are not in business any more....they could be posted as section officers, i guess.........secondly,would like to know what sort of interview it shall be .........a CSS qualifier friend of mine told me ,not long ago that he managed to reach the CSS interview twice and none was an incident when he was a single question from the subject he opted..........the interview revolved around current affairs and was meant to check the intelectual ability rather than ratta,which has already been checked through the theory part of the exam...............so what shall be expected in the interview of PMS.......kindly enlighten us
