Dear NOOR_2009 SYLLABUS THAT U MENTIONED FOR THE INDO-PAK HISTORY OR HISTORY IS TOTALLY IRRELEVENT AND IS NOT FOR IDO-PAK HISTORY PLEASE DON'T CREAT CONFUSION IN THE MINDS OF OTHERS. if u dont know the course details then plz dont mention it and dont misguide any one. the syllabus for indo-pak history for PMS KPK is as under:

HISTORY OF PAKISTAN AND INDIA
Total Marks – 200

Paper I
Marks – 100

712 – 1857 (Excluding arrival of European nations, decline and fall of Muslim rule)

- Arrival of the Muslims in the sub-continent, foundation of Muslim rule – administrative system and reforms under the Sultans and the Mughals
- Structure of the Muslim society
- Industry, trade and commerce under the Muslim patronage, the army, financial administration, zakat, ushr, kheraj etc
- Administration of justice – Sufis and ulemas – the Madrassahs and maktabs – Auqaf
- Art and architecture, literature, sports, dress – Muslim contribution to scientific knowledge – policy of the Muslim rulers towards non-Muslims. The spirit and legacy of Muslim civilization

Paper II
Marks – 100

Part A: 1857 – 1947

- Arrival of European nations – decline and fall of Muslim rule, contributions of Shah Wali Ullah, Syed Ahmad Shaheed and Sir Syed Ahmad Khan towards regeneration of the Muslim Hindu reform movements and anti-Muslim role of Hindu leaders
- Constitutional reforms of the British government and growth of the political parties – Indian National Congress, All India Muslim League. Partition of Bengal, Simla Deputation, Role of Nawab Mohsin-ul-Milk, Nawab Waqar-ul-Mulk
- Syed Ameer Ali, the Agha Khan and other Muslim leaders, Lukhnow Pact, Khilafat Movement, Contribution of Maulana Muhammad Ali, Allama Iqbal, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for Muslim uplift and welfare

Part B

- Separation of East Pakistan, causes and effects. Pakistan and the world – major powers, Islamic world, relations with India
- Social and intellectual trends after 1947. contribution of Quaid-e-Azam as first Governor General and Liaqat Ali Khan as first Prime Minister


dear wasee you can study according to this syllbaus and i think K ALI book HISTORY OF INDO-PAK is very good and best to me foe this paper and also u can study MUSLIM RULE IN INDIA AND PAKISTAN by MUHAMMAD SOHAIL BHATTI. this is best book for PMS and CSS.

dear MISS SUNDAS you can go through ENGLAND SINCE 11688 by V.D.MAHAJAN and A HISTORY OF EUROPE by H.A.L FISHER.

yara apney appko aur ziyda confuse na kero aur K.ALI ki indo pak history ya phir Bhatti Sons ki indo pak history ki books lou aur study start ker du. they will cover the syllabus of PMS and u will inshall pass it if u study them with heart...... jitni books paro gey itna confuse ho gey. jhan sey samj ata hay whan sey paro aur itna time nei hay k 1 subjects ki 6, 7 books pari jyen aur subjects b hain yar. indo pak ko ley ker beth hei nei jana hay. we hav to pass PMS and not only indo pak. so just go through K.Ali and Bhatti Sons. They are very good books. Hope u will not mind for writting in roman urdu.

Syllabus of indo pak history is same as that of css


1 . K ali

2. Focus on mughals for paper especially critical analysis of their period (for paper 1 only)

for paper 2

along with k ali get help from dr hassan askari lectures hand outs and make notes of your own
