Age limit in KPK PCS
AOA! Shahid Khan you may be a PMS Officer, but, whatever you told about age relaxation is not right as the KPK government is not giving any age relaxation for PMS 2010 for the general category.
So, the age limit is 30 years for the general category for KPK PMS... |

APPLICATION for AGE Relaxation in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa PMS 2010
Some people from Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa have sent an application to the chief justice of Pakistan for the AGE Relaxation in the Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa PMS-2010. All those people who want the Age Relaxation must submit the similar copies to the Chief Justice Office before the closing date for Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa PMS 2010 (03-09-2010), so that, The Chief Justice may give age relaxation for the Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa PMS 2010.
The points raised in the application are very valid, I think. The application is given below. Read it and send it to the addresses given in the end. I have send it yesterday not for myself but for those who are claiming for their fundamental right. The Chief Justice of Pakistan, Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Subject: Fundamental Rights Violation in Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Provincial Management Service (PMS) Examination 2010, in Terms of Injustice in Upper Age Relaxation Criterion under General Category Honorable Sir, With due deference and humble submission, I beg to submit that I am a citizen of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and resident of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa. Being the sun of the soil, it is my responsibility to put any matter of violation of fundamental rights in your kind consideration, which is causing the fgrievance and frustration among the educated but unemployed youth of Pakistan. Being the guardian of fundamental rights, it is your responsibility to probe into the matter for melting down the frustration among the educated masses. Honorable Sir, the Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) has announced some seats of Provincial Management Service in the last Sunday Newspapers on 15/08/2010 under the ADVERTISEMENT NO. 06 / 2010 (Expiry Date: 03/09/2010). In this advertisement, it is said that the age limit of taking the PMS Examination, for the general category, is 21-30 years and no age relaxation is mentioned in this regard for the general category. Whereas for the service of the same cadre, the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) is giving a general age relaxation of 10 years and the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) is giving a general age relaxation of 3-5 years. Honorable Sir, it is my humble request to give an order of the age relaxation for the poor but competent candidates of the Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa for PMS Examinations because: • The main reasons of declaring the candidates of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa ‘OVER AGED’ for the PMS Examinations is the infrequency of occurrence of these examinations. Unlike CSS Examinations which are held yearly, the Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa PMS Examinations (previously NWFP PMS & PSC Examinations) are normally held after 2-3 years e.g. the advertisement for the previous PMS Examination came on 9th February, 2008. (ADVERTISEMENT NO. 02 / 2008 (Expiry Date: 08/03/2008)) i.e. 30 months before the current advertisement of the same PMS Examination 2010. So, it becomes nearly an impossible task for a candidate who have reached to the age of 24 (after having done a 4 years bachelors degree) to avail all the 3 chances which is a flaw of the system and not of the candidate. Henceforth, an optimum age relaxation (3-5 years) in the upper age limit is requested under general category. • This policy of no age relaxation for the unemployed poor but competent candidates of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa is equally likely filtering out those competent minds from the mainstream. I am sure that it will create an ever lasting frustration in their minds as they were not allowed to sit for competition on the basis of inconsistent clauses for which the prevailing system is responsible. Henceforth, a general age relaxation in upper age limit like the Public Service Commissions of the other provinces (Punjab and Sindh) is requested. • There is no person in Pakistan who listens to the poor but competent persons. The people who have wealth and contacts with the higher authorities can get anything easily including the special age relaxations while the poor but competent candidates who have no access to the avenues of power and decision making are made a victim of unjust clauses like the one of declaring the candidates as ‘OVER AGED’. Ironically, the system causing the delays and latencies is not overhauled, but instead, the poor candidates are made a victim and declared as ‘OVER AGED’ which is a very unjust & biased notification. • The guidelines regarding the fundamental rights write down in the Part II, Chapter 1 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan say about the: Equality of citizens (Article 25) All citizens are equal before law and are entitled to equal protection of law. Safeguard against discrimination in services (Article 27) No citizen otherwise qualified for appointment in the service of Pakistan shall be discriminated against in respect of any such appointment on the ground only of race, religion, caste, sex, residence or place of birth. But, the Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC) is creating discrimination by declaring a person aged over thirty as ‘OVER AGED’ and consequently not allowing him to sit in the PMS Examination; although the same person would be eligible for the exam of such cadre, if he were have a different place of birth (i.e. born in Punjab or Sindh). This policy of such a wide gap in the provincial services rules and regulations is a great cause of displeasure among the candidates for PMS Examination, Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa. Honorable Sir, kindly probe into the matter for redressing the grievances of the candidates (declared ‘OVER AGED’) for PMS Examination 2010, Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, so that, they may get their just right of sitting in the forthcoming PMS Examination and serve the nation, incase of selection. Meanwhile, it is also humbly requested to you to potstone the on going process of forms submission for PMS Exam 2010, unless and until, the upper age relaxation matter is not solved properly. I shall be indeed very grateful to you for this act of kindness. Dated: 19th August, 2010 Yours Sincerely, (Signature here) (Name here) S/o (father name here) (Address here) Phone: Email: CC To: The Honorable Governor, Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa The Honorable Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa The Honorable Chief Justice, Peshawar High Court The Honorable Chairman FPSC, Islamabad The Honorable Chairman KPPSC, Peshawar The Honorable Secretary KPPSC, Peshawar 1. APPLICATION for AGE Relaxation in Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa PMS 2010
Dear Prestigious, I don't think so.
I think that if the candidates who are a victim of the discriminatory clauses put hands together, then, it can be made a possible task. All the candidates have to do is to sent the application to the Chief Justice from their personnel address. Only then, it will be feasible for the Chief Justice to take an action against this injustice. Thank you!!! |
