Default Number of attempts to be counted in PMS

In case if you apply in PMS and you get your date sheet and then you dont appear for any single paper in the exam then your chance will not be counted at all.But if you appear even in a single paper and remain absent in other papers then you would lose your one chance.

Brother I have thoroughly studied the syllabus but the issue of GK paper is still not clear to me and i'll still stick to my point that in PMS u will have to pass each paper of the GK paper individually..... It is mentioned in the first page of the PMS Syllabus i.e.

No candidate shall be summoned for Viva voce test unless he has
obtained at least 33 percent marks in each optional subject, 40% in the each
compulsory subject and 50% marks in the aggregate of the written portion of the
Examination
.

As far as i knw the same statement was mentioned in the PMS 2008 syllabus and candidates who didnt pass all the three papers individually were considered failed.. Now my query is that how it is same to that of CSS rules????? kindly let me knw about ur source in detail.....
thanx in advance......

regards...........

Default Ur chance will not be counted!

If u don't appear then ur chance will not be considered. It's only when u appear in an exam.
But once u have applied for the exam ,got the roll no, never leave the job unfinished.Just go for it.Only appearing in all papers will help u in getting through it.

Default PMS GK Paper Rule

@ Yousafzai.
Quote:
No candidate shall be summoned for Viva voce test unless he has
obtained at least 33 percent marks in each optional subject, 40% in the each
compulsory subject and 50% marks in the aggregate of the written portion of the Examination
.

GK subject has 3 papers i.e GK1,GK2,GK3.
As is clearly mentioned in syllabus that compulsory subject will be considered passed at 40% i.e 120/300.If u ger 80, 20 ,20 in three papers ,U 'll be considered pass, same as in CSS.
