Thread for Guess papers and main topics for KPKPSC PMS 2010
This thread is for the guess papers and main topics of any subject... You all are are requested to participate actively...
I have taken my MA Political Science Exam this year, studied all the Past Papers of univ. of Peshawar and PCS/PMS exams... There are many similarities in both of these exams papers... There are many clear similarities in both Univ. of Peshawar papers, and on many occasions I got sure that both of these papes are made by the same Professor... Believe me... So I want to share my views regarding the up coming exam and want to share those topics, questions which are mostly expected and many chances of those topics/ question for the up comping KPK PMS exam.... no doubt, sound preparation is the most important thing but also one should have also the ability to read the mind of examiner.... I can predict frm PMS 2008 also that most (may be all) of those papers are made the Univ. of Peshawar Professors... Will try to share my experience, You all are also requested to participate and share your experience/views regarding the Main topics or Guess papers in this thread... Best of Luck.... |
Constitution Law guess Paper for PMS 2010
Attempt any five Questions:
Q1) How do you distinguish between American and British Law Making process? Q2) American Senate is the most powerful upper house in the world, Illustrate. Q3) Discuss in detail salient features of the British Constitution. Q4) Discuss composition, power and functions of the French Parliament. Q5) Critically examine the powers and functions of French President. Q6) Do you agree that military play an important role in the Turkish Political System? Q7) Discuss in detail the characteristics of the Constitution of Malaysia. Q8) Discuss in detail the powers and functions of Russian President. Q9) Critically examine the powers and functions of Lower House of Indian Parliament. Q10) Write short notes on any TWO of the following: a) German Chancellor b) Rule of Law in UK c) Indian Rajia Sabha d) Separation of Powers in USA. (This paper is of Political System or We call it Constitution Law (in PMS and CSS) of Univ of Peshawar of 2010, believe me there are many Question expected for PMS from this paper...) |
Public Administration guess paper for PMS 2010
Attempt any five Questions.
Q1) " Public Administration consists of all those operations having for their purpose the fulfillment or enforcement of public policy as declared by competen authorithy." Explain. Also point out the differences between public and private administration. Q2) "The POSDCoRB and Subject matter views collectly give a true statement regarding the scope o Public Administration, " Elucidate. Q3) Discuss the importance of "Line Agencies" in the governing machinary of a state. Point out the varios kinds of line agencies along with the functions they perform. Q4) What is Public Corporation? Point out the commonalities and differences between public corporation and government department. Q5)Define Bureaucracy and discuss its features with refrence to Max Weber's Ideal type. Q6) What is Leadership? Discuss the vital fuctions of an exective leader. Q7) " Taking decisions is one of the primary responsibilties of a managerial functions. Q9)Point out the importance of leilature and judiciary in seeking accountabilty of state fuctionaries. Q10) Write short notes on any TWO of the following: a) Formal and Informal Channels of Communication. c) Principles of Hierachy OR Principle of Span of Control. d) Objectives of Government e) Any FIVE books on Public Administratin along with their authers. (This paper is of Principles of Public Administration or We call it Public Administration (in PMS and CSS) of MA Political Science Univ of Peshawar of 2010, believe me there are many Questions expected for PMS from this paper...) also I would like to add some other Question Q) Define Leadership. How leadership differs from management Q) Evaluate Major Styles of Leadership. Identify Common Characteristics of Effective Leaders. Q) What is leadership? Which type of leader would you prefer? International Relations guess Paper for PMS 2010
Attempt any FIVE Questions.

Q2) Explain contemporary theories of International Relations, with particular emphasis on realist theory. Q3)Elaborate the concept of Collective Security. Q4) Write a Comprehensive note on Cold War. Q5) Explain Globalization and its impacts on International Relations. Q6) Discuss causes and remedy of Regional Militancy. Q7) What are the determinants of Foreign Policy of a Nation State? Q8) Define Diplomacy and explain peaceful means for settlement of International disputes. Q9) Explain National Power, its elements and role in International Relations. Q10) Write notes on any TWO of the following: a) Balance of Power. b) China as Emerging Economic Power. c) Pakistan: Front line State in War on Terror d) Characteristics of New World Order. Yes dear frnd u will be right bt keep in mind that PMS-2008 was just a prictice fr PCS-KPK & this time they will follow the strick pattern of PMS detailed in CSS. I had also appeared in the previous exame bt was plunged in essay although i scored 673 marks.

I agree but the point is to read the mind of the examiner whatever the pattern may be... and most probably the Professor of the Univ. of Peshawar will add their contribution in PMS 2010 papers... So this stuff which i shared with all of you guys will definitely Inshallah help you... and also one other point that they will not make the papers so tough as we saw in PCS past papers(which I uploaded for you) coz at that time paper was of 150 marks and syllabus was totally change and so they used to play with the questions as much as possible... The papers of PMS 2010 of 100 marks will be not so difficult but 200 marks papers will definitely make problems and they will play with the questions as much as possible... |

I think these two are the easiest papers of PMS exam...very easy and Inshallah you all will find these two much easier in PMS2010... No doubt the papers of 100 marks will be very easy.... |

dear in MA Political we have a paper called "Government and politics of Pakistan", in that paper we have asked questions about Constitution of Pakistan" not in the Constitutional law paper...
and also usually u have seen the Constitution of Pak questions asked in Pak studies of Matric, F.A/F.Sc and BA... So in Constitution Law they dont ask any more about the constitution of Pak but usually they ask those questions in the separate paper called "Government and politics of Pakistan"...(which include many more topic instead of Constitution of Pakistan)... |

yes bro i need ur help. as m new to this subject so dont know the proz and conz, and need ur assistance in notes or other things which u consider important for scoring marks. your assistance is needed. Secondly; 117 is still good marks in CE2010 as most of the student failed to cross even 90s. |
