i don't expect its possibility, if they had to announce posts for dsp's they would have announced it in PMS..........

Assalamulaikum,

If Govt of KPK amends the Police order through a resolution,or have amended it, then it's obviously possible.

Brother, my father being a part of this department has no infor regarding the announcement of the DSP posts.... I think the Police Order 2002 has closed all the doors for the recruitment of DSP's...........So the news seem to b a hearsay ,,, avoid it ......

regards...

I second to the opinion of members Police Order has set back the direct recruitment of DSP. It has only mentioned ASP through CSS, ASI though Pubic Service Commissions and Constable through Departmental Committees. I am of the view that DSP recruitment should be restored and recruit young and dedicated youth which will serve better than rankers as ASPs are recruited in very short amount which cannot serve the purpose.

I support your view police is now a provincial subject and appointing ASP directly is not fair.Promotions to ASI s recruited through KPPSC should be given in the provincejust like Army to remove discrimination as well to those who are Masters/Post Graduated and are serving as ASI's
